If you think of question that is not on this list, please click on "Ask a Question" and let us know what you're thinking. If enough people ask the same question, we'll post the answer in this section for future visitors.

How long does it take for you to complete my order?
There really isn't a short answer to this question. Due to the process I use, custom signs take about a week to make once I start designing the sign. However this depends on the size and detail included in the sign. Some some may take 2-3 weeks. Vinyl signs do not take as long. Let me know when you need your job completed and I'll do my best to meet your needs or let you know if it can be done.

What is a "proof"?
A proof is a way of ensuring that I have designed a sign that you will be proud of and meets your expectations. Typically, I will produce a proof which will be sent to you online or hand sketched on paper that I will send to you or you can come here and we can sit down and design a sign together. I want you to be as involved in the design process as you feel comfortable--it's your sign to look at and enjoy!

Why do I need to look at a proof if I've already given you everything I need to have done?
I want the sign I make you to be exactly what you imagined in your mind or even better. Your approval on the final proof is assurance that you have looked over every aspect of my work and feel it is accurate and color choices are correct.
-
Do I still need to approve a proof if I bring my work in on disk?
It may seem like a proof wouldn't be needed in this case but it really is. Computers can process digital information using a variety of means and sometimes they will even insert their own idea of what it should look like, such as change the font or re-position items. Your approval of the proof which I provide assures that I have correctly interpreted and processed the information you have provided.
